Most studio owners have more data than they ever look at. Bookings, fill rates, revenue per product, waitlists, no-shows – it is all there. What is missing is the time to turn it into decisions. That is exactly where artificial intelligence helps: instead of digging through dashboards, you ask a question and get an answer.
StudioPlan now connects directly to Claude, the AI assistant from Anthropic. In this article we show what AI analysis actually brings to yoga, Pilates and fitness studios, which questions you can ask and how to set up the connection in two minutes.
Why use AI to analyse your studio?
Classic reports show you what happened. The question that matters is usually why – and what to do next. An AI can look at several metrics at once and spot connections that get lost in individual charts:
- Revenue went up – but did it come from memberships or drop-in bookings?
- Tuesday evening is full – is there a waitlist that justifies an extra class?
- Fill rates are dropping – is it one class type, one time slot or cancellations?
No spreadsheet formulas, no exported reports. You just ask.
What Claude can analyse in your studio
Once connected, Claude can use six analyses from StudioPlan:
- Studio overview: revenue, bookings, cancellation and no-show rates, number of classes, overall fill rate and waitlist activity.
- Revenue breakdown: revenue by product (classes, memberships, retail, vouchers), by payment method (e.g. TWINT, card, cash) and as a trend over time.
- Fill rates by class type: booked spots, capacity, average attendance and fill rate.
- Peak hours: bookings by weekday and hour – in your studio’s time zone.
- Instructor performance: classes, bookings and revenue per instructor.
- Retention risk: how many active clients have not booked for a while – as an anonymous summary.
10 questions you can ask Claude right away
- „How did my studio do last month compared to the month before?“
- „Which class types have the lowest fill rate this quarter?“
- „When are my peak hours, and where do I still have free capacity?“
- „What share of my revenue comes from memberships?“
- „What is my no-show rate, and has it gone up?“
- „Which instructors have the highest average attendance?“
- „How many active clients have not booked for more than 30 days?“
- „Would an extra class on Tuesday evening be worth it?“
- „Which payment methods do my clients use most?“
- „Summarise the key insights from the last 90 days in five bullet points.“
Tip: always give Claude a period („in September“, „last 90 days“). Without one, Claude uses the last 30 days.
Example: from gut feeling to decision
A Pilates studio in Zurich asks: „Which classes should I move to fill my studio better?“ Claude pulls fill rates by class type and peak hours and answers along these lines: the Tuesday 7 pm Reformer class runs at 97% with a regular waitlist, while Monday 12:15 Yin Yoga reaches only 34%. Moving it to Tuesday at 6 pm would likely fill both classes.
Decisions like this used to rely on instinct. Now they rest on your real numbers. For more on full classes, read our articles on waitlist management and reducing no-shows.
Privacy: what Claude sees – and what it doesn’t
In Switzerland, data protection is not an afterthought. That is why we built the connection deliberately narrow:
- Read-only: Claude cannot book, cancel or change anything in your studio.
- Aggregated figures only: your clients‘ names, email addresses and phone numbers are never sent to Claude. Even the retention-risk analysis is anonymous.
- Sign in with StudioPlan: you log in with your own account and choose which studio to connect. No passwords are shared.
- Disconnect any time: Studio → Integrations lists every connected app and lets you disconnect with one click. If someone leaves your team, their connection ends automatically.

Who benefits from AI analysis?
The connection is included in every StudioPlan plan – from single studios to multi-location businesses. It pays off most if you have little time for reporting, want to base timetable and pricing decisions on data, or need to explain numbers clearly to your team.
