Create a service (block card or time card)

Set up a multi-session product clients can buy and use to pay for class bookings.

Before you start

  • Access to Products

    Open Products → Services

    Go to Products in the menu and open Services. This is where you manage block cards, time cards, single sessions, consultations, and personal-training packages.

    Create a new service

    Click Add Service and choose the type. A Block card grants a fixed number of sessions (e.g. a 10-class card); a Time card is valid for a set period of time. Single sessions, consultations, and personal-training packages are also available.

    Set sessions and validity

    For a block card, set the number of sessions included (e.g. 10). Set a validity period in months if the card should expire after a certain time.

    Set the price

    Enter the price clients pay for the card.

    Decide where it's sold

    Enable online sale if you want clients to be able to buy the card themselves from your booking page or portal. Leave it off to sell it only in-studio.

    Save

    Save the service. It's now available to sell to clients and, if enabled, to buy online.

Tips

  • Block cards are the second payment method StudioPlan checks when booking a class — after an active membership and before charging by card.
  • Set a validity period to encourage clients to use their sessions, and to keep your liability clear.
